ANGGREK
Anggrek Agency is an art and cultural agency dedicated to promoting queer, Asian, and female artists, while also supporting emerging voices in design and photography. Founded by Steven Anggrek, a graduate of the Executive Master in Art Market Studies program at the University of Zurich, the agency began its curatorial journey in January 2024 with an exhibition of Polaroid Collages by Stuart Sandford (b. 1978, British; lives and works in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and London), followed by watercolor works on paper by Yen Melia Andreas (b. 1996, Indonesian; lives and works in Jakarta), and works on canvas by Dapott (b. 1995, Indonesian; lives and works in Yogyakarta).
Today, Anggrek Agency proudly collaborates with a diverse range of artists, including designer duo Audrey Julien (b. 1990, French) & Arno Mathies (b. 1986, Swiss), Dabi Arnasa (b. 1997, Indonesian), Laura Badertscher (b. 1983, Swiss), Dieter Hall (b. 1955, Swiss), John T.D. Murphy (b. 1990, American), Maria Pomiansky (b. 1971, Swiss), Andrea Popović (b. 1993, Swiss), and Moussa David Saleh (b. 1984, Lebanese).
